What does the package include?

Each engine will be supplied with:
CMI Polished Stainless Steel Headers.
Powder coated mounts custom designed for each unique boat installation.
Complete closed circuit cooling for oil and coolant, thermostatically controlled.
Multipoint electronic fuel injection system with knock detection and marine standard electrical interface.
MV10 specific bellhousing and drive plates for standard Bravo or BW72 style transmissions.

How much output do the MV-10 engines produce?


The MV10-550 engine develops 550 horsepower at 5,500 RPM & 600 ft*lb at 4,500 rpm.

The MV10-625 engine develops 625 horsepower at 5,800 RPM & 600 ft*lb at 4,700 rpm.

What is the MV10 family of engines based on?


The engines are based upon the all aluminum V10 found in the 2005 Dodge Viper Competition Coupe and the worlds fastest full-size pickup, the 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10.

How much do the MV10’s weigh and how does that compare to others?


Ready to install weight, dry with CMI stainless steel headers is approximately 800 lbs per engine.  A traditional iron big block style engine configured similar to an MV10 weighs 1,000 lbs normally aspirated and 1,200 lbs supercharged (with intercooling).

What is the full throttle RPM range?

We suggest that a propeller and gearing combination be chosen to allow for the maximum speed of the boat to be achieved at 5,600 RPM with an MV10-550 and 5,800 RPM with an MV10-625.

The MV10 engine family require a minimum of 92 (R+M)/2 octane unleaded gasoline.
