NASCAR

The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing Inc. (NASCAR) is one of the most viewed professional sports in the United States, both on television and in event attendance. NASCAR consists of many national and regional racing series, and the most notable are the Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series, and Camping World Truck Series.

In 2004, Ilmor Engineering ventured outside the open-wheel racing world to participate in the NASCAR Busch Series (now the Nationwide Series) with our own version of the Ilmor/PJE Ford Engine. True to form, our engine powered Biagi Brothers Racing driver Mike Wallace to victory at Daytona Int'l Speedway in the Winn-Dixie 250.

Although Ilmor shifted its stock car racing focus to ARCA in 2007, we continue to provide select engines for races in the Nationwide Series and the Camping World Truck Series. Our current participation in NASCAR is focused on providing engineering and manufacturing expertise in the development and supply of performance parts to exclusive partners involved heavily in the Sprint Cup Series.
